Daniel Gizaw, President & CEO (Founder)
Daniel is a graduate of the University of Gdansk (MSEE) and has worked on Phd program at the University of Wisconsin . With more than 17 years experience designing state-of-the art electric motors and drives and extensive expertise in motor and control technology, Daniel founded Danotek Motion Technologies in 2000 to serve the specialized needs of the transportation and energy industries. He has also acquired expansive experience in the areas of research, product development, staff engineering, and operation management for General Electric, GM-Electric Vehicle, Cummins/Onan Power Generation, and Ford Motor Company. Among his many accomplishments, he has obtained 16 patents, including GE's ECM motor ($60MM/yr), the Onan variable speed generator, and Ford's brushless fuel pump.
David Erdman, Director, Electronic Technology
David is a graduate of Purdue University (MSEE) and has more than 36 years of experience in the area of motors and motor control design (General Electric). Among his many accomplishments, he is the original inventor of brushless motor sensor-less control technology and has acquired 36 patents and more than 100 disclosures on brushless motors, controls, SRM, and induction technology. While at General Electric, David was a key contributor in many innovative system designs, including ECM, appliance motors and controls, air moving products, and pump and compressor drives.
Joseph Miller, Director, Manufacturing & Operations
Joseph is a graduate of Manchester College (BSCE) and has more than 36 years of experience working as a materials specialist, quality control manager, and plant manager for manufacturing of motors and electrical products at General Electric. He is an expert in new product production-line development and has attained several management accolades for compressor motor manufacturing processes and General Electric's entry into automotive markets. Joe's patent awards include high-speed motors, compressors, and PM motors.
