Prototyping and Testing
Danotek, with its partner IEL Inc., has full machine shop capability & experienced operators at its Ann Arbor site for custom prototype build with access to additional shops in the surrounding area. IEL’s renown capability for testing automotive application components and systems includes the ability to perform any type of electrical, mechanical, fuel systems for performance, environmental and durability tests.
Available Tests:
- MTS Multi-Axis Simulation Table – for NVH tests and DAQ
- Custom test design for vehicle instrumentation and data acquisition system
- Drive in Thermotron environmental chamber – for complete vehicle or other system tests
- 14 environmental chambers Class 1 fuel rated (8 – 72 Cu feet)
- 10 environmental chambers non-fuel rated
- 3 Themotron thermal shock test chambers
- Mast Ozone – UV absorption ozone photometer
- Instron Tensile Test chamber – mechanical and electrical cycling 100 % humidity
- Specialized fuel system tests – fuel injector, fuel pump, fuel regulator and fuel lines
- Motor dynamometer test stand – build on going
- Electronics circuit test and instrumentation – durability & specific cycle test
In addition, custom test setups and test units can be designed and built in house with complete data acquisition system and data base management for customers that would like the test at their own facility.
